West Kellow Farm lies in rolling Cornish countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Guests are welcome to stroll round the garden and down to the wildlife pond to watch ducks, moorhens, birds and other wildlife in their natural surroundings.
Close by, you will find delightful fishing villages, sandy beaches and the spectacular coastal paths of South East Cornwall.
Polperro and Looe
Polperro with its narrow, winding streets, harbour and sandy beach with caves and rock pools to explore is close by.
Futher along the coast you will find the historic fishing port of Looe where children can enjoy the safe, sandy beach and go crab fishing off the quay. Speed boat rides go from the banjo pier and you can also hire a self drive boat to go up the Looe River where you can see swans and other wildlife. For those with sturdy sea legs, mackerel fishing trips run from the quay.
Secluded coves at Lansallos, Lantivet and Lantic
A short drive away to the west of West Kellow Farm is Lansallos with its secluded bay reached by a footpath which is featured in part of the 'Poldark' series.
Continue along the coast to the west and you will find the spectacular bays of Lantivet and Lantic. The rugged beach at Talland Bay lies to the east of West Kellow Farm.
Fowey, of Daphne du Maurier fame, is only 4 miles via the Bodinnick Car Ferry. The internationally famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the magnificent house and gardens at Lanhydrock (NT) and Cotehele (NT) are all within easy reach..
The old mining village of Minions with its cafes and Mining Heritage centre and the Cheesewring and the Hurlers (ancient standing stone circles close to Minions) are well worth a visit.
